Engineered for safety and reliability, this hatch is built from heavy-duty aluminum and backed by stainless steel hardware. The low-profile lid sits just 1/4″ off the deck and comes with rugged D-shaped handles for easy lift-out or hinged access.

Key Materials
- Bomar uses 6061 extruded aluminum to construct our 4000 Series Tread Plate hatches. The extrusions are pressure formed at the Bomar manufacturing facility in New Hampshire.
- The 4000 Series Tread Plate hatches are professionally assembled in-house with 316L, marine grade, stainless steel T-handle & fasteners. Stainless steel is ideal for harsh marine environments due to it’s rust & corrosion resistance, strength and luster.
