The 100 Series Cast Hatch is built from marine-grade Almag-35 cast aluminum, reinforced with stainless steel hardware, and equipped with a smoke-tinted Lexan lens. A proven solution across both recreational and commercial vessels, this hatch is available in a wide range of sizes and configurations.
With trim ring options in black or white and optional inside/outside opening functionality, the 100 Series provides straightforward performance and dependable sealing for utility access, storage compartments, and more.

Key Materials
- Bomar uses 535 magnesium hardened aluminum to construct our 100 Series Cast hatches. The raw almag-35 is heated to 1100 degrees F at the Bomar foundry and is then melted and poured into our proprietary cast molds.
- The 100 Series Cast hatches are professionally assembled in-house with 316L, marine grade, stainless steel fasteners. Stainless steel is ideal for harsh marine environments due to it’s rust & corrosion resistance, strength and luster.
- The 100 Series Cast hatches come equipped with a smoked polycarbonate Lexan acrylic lenses as standard. Polycarbonate acrylic lenses provide excellent clarity and durability in harsh marine environments.
