The NiBo Low Profile Series — also known as the A&P Series — sets the standard for performance hatches on recreational and OEM vessels around the globe. Combining a clean, modern look with durable marine-grade construction, these hatches feature a heavy-duty extruded aluminum frame, smoked acrylic lens, and optional internal or external hinge designs.
From traditional deck installations to flybridge access panels, the A&P Series is available in more sizes and configurations than any other Bomar hatch. A wide selection of finishes, shades, and accessories ensures that it fits seamlessly into your vessel’s form and function.

Key Materials
- Bomar uses 6061 extruded aluminum to construct our A&P Series extruded low profile hatches. The extrusions are pressure formed at the Bomar manufacturing facility in New Hampshire.
- The A&P Series low profile deck hatches are professionally assembled in-house with 316L, marine grade, stainless steel fasteners. Stainless steel is ideal for harsh marine environments due to it’s rust & corrosion resistance, strength and luster.
- The A&P Series deck hatches come equipped with a smoked polycarbonate Lexan acrylic lenses as standard. Polycarbonate acrylic lenses provide excellent clarity and durability in harsh marine environments.
