Key Materials
- Bomar uses 6061 extruded aluminum to construct our 1400 Series Sliding extruded roof hatches. The extrusions are pressure formed at the Bomar manufacturing facility in New Hampshire.
- The 1400 Series Sliding hatches are professionally assembled in-house with 316L, marine grade, stainless steel fasteners. Stainless steel is ideal for harsh marine environments due to it’s rust & corrosion resistance, strength and luster.
- The 1400 Series Sliding hatches come equipped with a smoked polycarbonate Lexan acrylic lenses as standard. Polycarbonate acrylic lenses provide excellent clarity and durability in harsh marine environments.
